Together In Motion Dance School
A safe and inclusive space where all learners — children, adults, neurodivergent and neurotypical can thrive & all dance ability enbraced.
Our Story
"Dance should be for everyone – but too often, it isn't.
I founded Together In Motion because I witnessed how frequently people with different needs and abilities were excluded from dance spaces. Too many children and adults have been told they don't belong, that they're not the "right fit."
I knew there had to be a better way.
So I created something different: a space where everyone is genuinely welcome. Children and adults, with or without disabilities, dancing side by side. Because it should never be about separation – it should be about connection, expression, and pure joy as one community.
At Together In Motion, we believe that when we dance together, we break down barriers and build something beautiful. Our classes are thoughtfully designed so that every dancer, regardless of their ability or background, feels supported, celebrated, and free to shine their brightest.
Because in the end, we are all one"

Meet our team
Head Dance Teacher, Kathleen discovered dance 15 years ago during a challenging time, and it transformed her life.
As both a neurodivergent person and parent, she brings lived experience, empathy, and a passion for inclusivity to her teaching. Sprinkled with lots of fun.
Dance gave her joy, confidence, and a true sense of belonging — and she’s excited to share that same welcoming community at Together in Motion Dance School, where everyone can connect, belong, and shine.

All classes are open to every age and ability — whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, everyone is supported, included, and encouraged to enjoy the joy of dance.

As we build momentum together, our aim is to finish the year with a fun and inclusive concert that celebrates everyone’s progress and joy in dance.
